This week we are going to wander into the middle of Moses’ story. He has left Egypt (after killing a man), gotten married and become a pretty successful shepherd. And then he encounters a burning bush and his whole life changes.

Listening and responding to God’s call to be active participants in His Kingdom does permanently change you. Whenever a person in the Bible responds to God with the phrase ‘here I am” (David, Isaiah,Mary) their lives become much more difficult but also much more meaningful. What does it mean to offer ourselves to God like this? It changed Moses’ life and the entire history of God’s people. What might happen if we did the same? Where do we find ourselves in this story?
